TomTom to power sPARK’s parking app

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 16 April 2018   Starting immediately, TomTom’s (TOM2) online services and live traffic data will be integrated into sPARK Parking Technologies Ltd’s Polly app, which is designed to assist drivers in finding the best parking spaces near their destination. The Polly app is currently available in several cities in France and Israel – including Paris, Metz, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – with more countries and cities expected to launch this year.

Polly combines a driver's navigation and parking journey into one seamless experience. The accuracy and breadth of TomTom’s location data, as part of this app, will optimise the identification of available parking spaces and find the smartest way to get there.

“Drivers want to save time and money when they are searching for on-street parking spaces, so the accuracy and coverage of TomTom’s location data were key factors in our desire to work with them,” says Zohar Bali, CEO and Co-Founder of sPARK.  “By choosing TomTom, we’re able to advance sPARK as a trusted smart parking solution provider.”

“TomTom is transforming mobility across the world,” explains Anders Truelsen, Managing Director of TomTom’s Enterprise Business. “We are pleased to work with sPARK to make their app a success, and see this collaboration as yet another example of how TomTom’s technology is making people’s lives easier.”
